Sitre was born in Denmark from a desire for a more honest, inclusive, and caring approach to intimacy. The founders, Cecilie Hjelmager and Julie Herskin, experienced firsthand how existing products often felt either overly clinical or unnecessarily vulgar – and rarely focused on quality or wellbeing. They wanted to create something different: a brand that treats intimacy with respect, warmth, and authenticity.

Their products are vegan, allergy-friendly, pH-balanced, and dermatologically tested – free from glycerin, perfume, parabens, and other irritating ingredients.
